I am currently designing an audio installation for the Christmas Festival which will be held at Buille Hill Park on 20th December between 6-8pm. The installation is based around dummers drumming and pipers piping, taken from the Christmas song – The 12 Days of Christmas. Come along and join in the fun. All the 12 days of Christmas will be represented in various creative ways!

6 December 2009I produced a program entitled Composition or Sound Design for Resonance FM Framework:afield. The program was aired on Sunday 8th Novemer 2009. The program investigates the use of field recordings for sound design and composition. Two of my recent composition projects, Cities of Sound and Memories Unearthed are also part of the program. You can listen to the show below and hear the thoughts of Sound Designer – Steve Brown and Composer – Ewan Stefani as they answered questions I had previously put to them about the construction of their work.

Sound @ The World Stage Design Exhibition
8 October 2009Well I am pleased to annouce that I am one of the winners of the Sound Design prize at the World Stage Design Exhibition which is part of OISTAT (International Organisation of Scenographers, Theatre Architects and Technicians) in Korea.
